We had several successful local and international adoptions and dogs who were once starving on the streets are now sleeping in plush beds with the best of food and toys!
We have to say, contrary to what many believe, some street dogs are very happy living a life of freedom on the streets. The street dogs in the Buddhists area of Boudha are seen as “community” dogs and looked after relatively well. There is several people feeding the dogs around the big stupa in Boudha, so they get their food each day. Saturdays we check for their
Two of our dogs were extremely lucky to be adopted by Peter Effenberger. They now live on his beautiful farm in Gorkha. We are very happy for them. May Kali and Tiger, formerly Changu and Pokemon, have long and happy lives!!! N.B. They got new names when they reached their new home.
